Find the right place

Track Defeat the Squallreaver. The devices at the top of Whispering Vale watchtowers point you toward the boss. Use the Wayfinder and your map to locate the boss area.

Look for Squallreaver Wayfinder in your own world. This is one generated map; your layout will differ.

Asked for six seal fragments? That is the vault objective. It is separate from the Squallreaver boss quest, so collecting the fragments is not the summoning step.

Worlds are procedurally generated. Copy the marker name and the approach, rather than trying to match this picture’s coordinates or coastline.

Make a Squallreaver Feast

  1. Open a Campfire

The recipe lists Campfire or better as its cooking facility.

  2. Select Squallreaver Feast

Choose the named recipe, gather the materials listed in its ingredient panel, and craft one Feast. An ordinary cooked meal is not the item requested by the altar.

Choose Squallreaver Feast in the Campfire menu. Its description identifies it as the offering used to summon the boss.

The ingredient panel is below the description. In this capture, 8/2 means 8 held and 2 required; follow the quantities in your current recipe.

Get Corrupted Rock: mine purple-veined rocks in storm-corrupted areas with a pickaxe. Check the pickup name, because nearby loose items may simply say Rock. See the material source and storm-clearing steps →

Remove the shield barrier

If the boss area is shielded, destroy the generators protecting it. Continue until the game confirms “The shield barrier has been deactivated.” Reaching the area and removing its shield are preparation for the altar offering.

This message confirms that the shield is down. Do not rely on a fixed generator count for every world.

Offer the Feast at the altar

Find the central altar in the circular stone ruins. Approach it with the Feast in your inventory. The interaction should name Squallreaver Feast, rather than a loose item on the ground.

Make the offering. Squallreaver then appears and the Squallreaver health bar marks the start of the fight.

Before you travel

  • Upgrade your first-kingdom weapons. This is the developer’s advice for players struggling before the next equipment tier.
  • Repair and bring food. Repair your equipment and prepare ordinary food before heading into the boss area.
  • Adjust difficulty if needed. The developer points players to Settings → Gameplay.

If the boss storm is missing

Update the Demo first. The official v0.1.036.28374 notes fixed some generated worlds missing a Squallreaver storm. The note does not explain whether every existing world is repaired retroactively; it is not a reason to delete your save.

The latest official Demo version checked on October 25, 2026 was v0.1.036.28537.
