Classes and growth in the Demo

The Demo’s three classes are Warrior, Ranger and Mage. Character levels use XP; the skill menu separately shows Skill Points and Crests. Skill points are capped by biome, and the Core tree includes food-capacity upgrades.

Which classes are in the Demo?

The current Demo-specific list names Warrior, Ranger and Mage. The skill menu has a tab for each, alongside Core.

Start by identifying the tree you are inspecting. The class names alone do not establish a best build or guarantee that every skill advertised for Early Access is usable in the Demo.

Read the selected tree before spending points

The selected tab is Core. Skill Points and Crests have separate counters, and the selected node has its own description.

Open a node’s description and check its effect, connected path and current unlock requirements. In this example, a Core node describes adding food capacity. The separate counters help distinguish resources rather than treating every kind of progression as one total.

XP levels and skill points are different

ProgressionWhat is established
Character level and XPThe October 7 Demo update added the level and experience system.
Skill PointsUsed by the skill-tree system. The official storm feature list includes earning skill points from cleared storms.
Biome limitSince v0.1.036.28215, skill points are capped per biome. Repeating the initial region is not an unlimited skill-point plan.
CrestsThe full-game description uses boss-earned crests to unlock classes. They are displayed separately from Skill Points.

The patch does not state a numerical point cap for each biome. If growth seems to stop, keep the biome condition in mind before assuming every cleared storm should add another point.

A practical Core example: Food Slot I

Food Slot I describes unlocking an extra food slot so you can eat larger meals and more food at once. It addresses food capacity, which is separate from backpack space.

Food Slot I adds room for larger meals or more food at once.

Read your current unlock requirements before spending points. Food and UI balance changed after this menu capture. Use the food-slot checks if a meal cannot be eaten.

Keep the Demo list separate from Early Access

The planned full-game description includes five classes: Warrior, Ranger, Mage, Forager and Villager. The current Demo-specific list contains the first three.

For the playable scope and planned release date, compare the Demo with Early Access. Use this page as a class and progression reference; the menu image does not establish current class-switch or skill-reset costs.
