Does your Demo save carry over?
Yes, for the updated Demo’s worlds and characters. The important exception is the older Demo: the October 7, 2026 update required a new character and a new world. Its carryover promise applies to the new save files.

The October 7 update was v0.1.036.27824. The Demo store page names both saved worlds and characters in its transfer statement.
Early Access is planned for November 10, 2026. This is the developer’s compatibility commitment; it is not a completed migration test by this site.
What is in the Demo?
The official October 19 overview includes Whispering Vale and Howling Woods, three classes, equipment upgrades and the Squallreaver boss. See the current Demo scope and planned Early Access comparison for its content boundaries.
The October 19 update added an end-of-Demo dialog after meditating in the Squallreaver arena. Reaching that dialog is distinct from testing a future save transfer.
Before returning to an old world
Check the version shown on the main menu. The latest official version checked on October 25 was v0.1.036.28537.
If your save predates the October 7 reset, the supported route is the updated Demo’s new-character and new-world requirement. There is no supported old-save conversion procedure in the announcement; this guide does not recommend editing or deleting your old files.
